WINDOWS

Wood trim was changed from grey to brown.

Single pane windows in breezeway, church school connector and south wall of school were replaced by double pane glass. Rotting exterior trim was replaced with mahogany and interior sills with oak.

DRAINAGE PROBLEMS

Rains on adjacent roofs frequently flooded into basement offices. New gutters and pipes now take roof water to underground drainage systems on the east side of the church.

OFFICE AREA

To create an office corridor, a doorway needed to be cut in a load-bearing wall. Three new offices were created! The new office area and moving of other offices is nearly finished.

MASONRY

Before - loose stones, missing grout, mildew and moss.

HEATING SYSTEM

One of the largest projects was updating the heating plant. Two huge old boilers and all asbestos were removed in early June of 2000. Below is a picture of the new heating system!

ROOF WORK

Staging was created to facilitate reshingling of towers and painting. New copper valleys between roofs were installed. Detailing and finishing of roof lines was part of the project.
