Volunteering with Church School

Adult Volunteers
We rely on our generous and dedicated volunteers to make our religious education programs possible. We are so grateful for our volunteer teachers, drivers, meal providers, pageant coordinators, and photographers. If you have a special talent you'd like to contribute, don't hesitate to reach out to us! We also have lots of volunteer opportunities for high school age youth to get involved at First Parish and earn community service hours.

To support a safe environment, we ask that volunteers be active parishioners of First Parish Church for at least six months before teaching Church School. All volunteers over the age of 13 need to pass a CORI background check before working with children. Click here to access the CORI acknowledgement form, which needs to be presented to Director of Family Ministries Chris Scheller, along with a photo ID.
